The Online/ODL B.Ed. is a 2-year (4-semester) professional teacher-education programme offered by CDOE, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Gachibowli, Hyderabad, NAAC 'A+' Grade accredited, recognised by NCTE and UGC-DEB.
The curriculum covers Philosophical, Sociological and Psychological Foundations of Education, Learning and Teaching, Assessment for Learning, School Management, ICT-Based Teaching, Inclusive Education, plus Pedagogy papers in a chosen school subject (Mathematics, Biological Sciences, Social Studies, Urdu, Hindi, English or Physical Sciences).
Students build teaching-practice competence through mandatory Workshop-Based Activities, School-Based Activities, and supervised Teaching Practice/Internship components across all four semesters.
This is specifically a second/in-service degree for working teachers who already hold an NCTE-recognised face-to-face teacher-training qualification (e.g. D.El.Ed, B.El.Ed, D.P.Ed, B.P.Ed) and are upgrading their professional qualification.

- Unlike most other CDOE programmes, admission is entrance-test based, not merit-only: a 100-mark, 2-hour objective test covering General English, General Urdu, General Awareness, Logical/Analytical Reasoning and Teaching & Learning.
- Total fee for the 2-year programme is ₹42,000 for General/OBC/EWS candidates and ₹28,800 for SC/ST/PWD/Women/Transgender candidates (paid across two years), plus a ₹1,000 one-time registration fee for the entrance test.
- Includes mandatory 6-day counselling and 3-day workshop sessions each semester, plus supervised Teaching Practice/Internship in a secondary school in Semesters III and IV.
- Delivered through 20 dedicated B.Ed. Programme Centres nationwide, coordinated under CDOE's 9 Regional and 6 Sub-Regional Centres.
