Hindustan Online BBA

Hindustan Online BBA is a three-year degree. It's built with real care. It blends theory with hands-on practice. You graduate with skills you can use in a job right away.

The Online BBA  builds confident management and leadership skills. These skills set you up well to lead a team or run your own business. You get a clear view of every core business task. You also build deep skill in one track you pick. Graduates land great, in-demand jobs. Think marketing, finance, HR, aviation, tourism, travel, and logistics — a wide, welcoming set of doors.

Fees stay simple and easy to plan for. Indian students pay a modest ₹1,000 application fee plus bank charges, and a  ₹39,000 course fee each year. That splits neatly into ₹19,500 per semester, across six semesters. The exam fee is a reasonable ₹3,000 a year. A repeat exam, should you ever need one, costs just ₹500 per course. Students from SAARC countries — Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka — pay a light $50 application fee and $1,500 a year. That splits into $750 per semester. The yearly exam fee is $50, with a $15 repeat-exam cost. Students from other countries pay $2,000 a year, split into $1,000 per semester. Either way, it's clear and easy to plan for. Wards of COVID martyrs, along with Defense and Healthcare staff, enjoy generous fee waivers under university rules. It's a thoughtful touch that honors their service.

  • Take up good projects that help society thrive.

  • Build strong ties with industry and top schools, at home and abroad.

Trusted Accreditation

Hindustan proudly grants the degree. It holds a respected NAAC 'A' Grade. The program also follows UGC and AICTE rules, giving you a genuinely solid, well-regarded credential.

A Curriculum Built for Real Careers

Airline, airport, and cargo classes run every term, a real strength here. You also build valuable core skills in management, finance, and marketing. This keeps your main career paths wide open. From Semester III, you add a Logistics or Tourism elective for even more depth. Few BBA programs offer this same rich, steady mix of aviation and logistics, term after term.

Flexibility That Fits Your Life

You study fully online, at your own pace, in a clear term system. Your six-year window means you never need to rush. That works great if you have a job, a career change, or a busy, full life.

Transparent, Affordable Fees

The program runs on one clear, friendly yearly fee, with a handy per-term payment option. Indian and international students each get their own clear plan. Thoughtful waivers apply to some student groups too. No surprises partway through, just clear plans you can trust.

Experienced, Industry-Connected Faculty

The teaching team blends real classroom skill with real industry work. Several faculty members bring more than 25 years in their field, a wonderful depth of experience. That keeps your class time close to real business, not just theory.

Transparent Career Outcomes

Hindustan CODE proudly shares its own salary range and average pay, right out in the open. That gives you a real, useful view of where this degree can take you.

Student-First Policies

You get a clear, fair refund policy. You also get clear, helpful rules for online meetings. Both keep every session running smoothly. That kind of openness is a real point of pride here.

Hindustan University Online BBA Institutional Accreditation & Credentials

This BBA stands on three genuinely strong pillars. CODE, short for the Centre for Open Digital Education, runs the program with real care. It works under Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS), a well-known name. Hindustan (Deemed-to-be University) proudly grants the degree. It holds a respected NAAC 'A' Grade. The program also follows UGC and AICTE rules. So it meets recognized national standards for online study with ease.

NAAC accreditation, dated: HITS files its own Annual Quality Assurance Reports (AQAR) on hindustanuniv.ac.in. These are a genuinely useful window into the university's track record. They show a NAAC grade of Cycle 1, 'A' Grade, with a CGPA of 3.30. The university earned this in 2016. It was first valid through 15 September 2021, later extended to 31 December 2022. The newest AQAR on file, from 2022–23, still lists this same cycle. It doesn't yet show a Cycle 2 entry, though that may simply mean the archive hasn't caught up yet, since these filings often run a bit behind. A quick look at the live NAAC page would confirm the latest standing, just to be sure. Separately, a few third-party education sites already list a promising "A+" grade for 2025. We'd want to see an official NAAC certificate or CGPA before treating that as fully confirmed here.

What Deemed-to-be University means: Under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, the Central Government can declare a high-performing institution "deemed to be a university" on UGC's advice. This lets HITS set its own courses, fees, and degrees, without being a Parliament- or state-established university.

The status carries ongoing UGC oversight: institutions with a NAAC grade below 'A', or an NIRF rank outside the top 100, face closer UGC monitoring and risk losing approval for new courses if issues go unfixed. A valid 'A' Grade keeps HITS outside that tier — another reason the NAAC dating question above is worth confirming. Deemed universities still follow AICTE rules for technical programs like this BBA, alongside UGC.

Hindustan Online BBA Eligibility Criteria

  • A Class 12th, PUC, or HSC pass, from any stream, is all you need to get started.

  • You'll also meet the general admission rules set by the Institute, AICTE, and UGC — straightforward and clearly laid out.

  • Total Duration: 3 years.

  • Learning Model: Six clear, well-paced semesters, capped off with a rewarding Study Project and Comprehensive Viva.

  • Registration Validity: A generous window of up to 6 years.

Hindustan Online BBA Specializations Offered

You can pick from three tracks:

  1. General BBA

  2. Aviation Management

  3. Logistics and Supply Chain Management

General BBA

This track covers the shared core beautifully. Think accounting, business talk, economics, stats, law, HR, marketing, and ethics. It skips the aviation and logistics electives. That gives you a wide, versatile base for roles in accounting, HR, marketing, or finance. As the note above says, this track's syllabus still runs a strong, valuable line of aviation subjects. See Section 8 for the exact list.

Aviation Management

This exciting track adds real airline and airport classes onto the same solid core, every term. You'll take Airline Management, Airport Management, Passenger Ground Service, Aircargo Management, Airline Customer Services, and Airline Ads & Sales. It's a genuinely rich lineup. It sets you up well for jobs in flight ops, ground work, cargo, and passenger care.

Logistics and Supply Chain Management

This track builds real, valuable skills in logistics work: how to plan and guide the flow of goods and people with confidence. Classes cover marketing, economics, finance, logistics strategy, and today's best tools in the field. Grads step proudly into roles like Logistics Manager, Inventory Control Executive, and Warehouse Executive, at shipping lines, ports, road transport firms, and logistics companies.

Curriculum Grouped by Focus Area

Logistics subjects build real supply-chain and cargo skill. This grouping comes from a close read of the syllabus, not a separate official paper.

The Core column repeats each term. Every student needs this same base, no matter which elective they pick. The Aviation column runs five subjects, from term I through VI. That gives you one steady thread of airline and airport learning across the whole degree. The Logistics column shows up in terms III, IV, and VI, then grows more through the elective slot below.

Each subject builds a clear, real skill. Term I's accounting class gives you a firm base: ledgers, trial balances, final accounts. Term III's cost class then adds skill in ratio work and budgets. Term IV's cargo and ground-service classes tie your study straight to real airline work.

Elective Modules Available

The elective slot runs from Semester III through VI. Here, you choose a deeper track: Logistics or Tourism. Electives add a second area of real depth on top of the shared core and aviation subjects above.

  • Logistics Electives: Warehousing & Distribution Centre Operations, Freight Forwarding (Ocean & Air Cargo), Forecasting and Inventory Management, Surface Transportation, MIS for Logistics, International Logistics Management.

  • Tourism Electives: Travel Management, Tourism Product, Eco Tourism, Global Tourism, Indian Cultural Heritage, Hospitality Management, Economics of Tourism, Airline Ticketing and Fare Construction.

Credit Structure

CODE sets one credit at 30 study hours, per UGC rules. Of those hours, 10% run through live classes. The rest is self-study: reading, recorded video and audio, plus time on quizzes and assignments.

CODE's general policy sets a helpful floor of 110 credits for BBA, BCA, and B.Com, across six terms, which is a good target to keep in mind. The table above, taken straight from the official BBA PDF, happens to add up to 101 credits (19+16+17+17+18+14) — a friendly gap worth a quick double-check with CODE, since the 110 figure comes from a different, general policy page rather than the BBA-specific curriculum document. Most likely, one page is simply due for a small update, or an unlisted component quietly covers the difference — either way, it's an easy thing to confirm with a quick message to CODE.

Two more credit notes apply to BBA:

  • The internship is optional, but finish it well and you earn two extra credits.

  • You can add further credits by taking related courses on Swayam or other MOOC platforms.

Hindustan Online BBA Learning Methodology & Pedagogy

Blended Learning in a Flipped Classroom Model

CODE teaches through Blended Learning. It's a thoughtful mix of live teaching and digital tools, planned with real care. Its clever flipped classroom model lets you view digital notes on a cloud platform, on your own time. That frees up live class time for great discussion and real questions.

Teaching runs on two rich tracks. One is pre-recorded: fun videos you watch when it suits you. The other is live: real-time sessions with your teacher, full of energy. Case studies and inspiring guest talks from real business folks add great, hands-on learning on top.

Four Quadrant Approach

CODE splits content delivery into four quadrants:

  • Quadrant 1: e-Tutorial — live online audio and video sessions, plus pre-recorded multimedia content.

  • Quadrant 2: e-Content — self-learning materials, Coursera and edX, MOOCs, and open-source web resources.

  • Quadrant 3: Discussion Forum — live support from subject experts, plus a board for current events and real-world use.

  • Quadrant 4: Self Study Activities — online quizzes, MCQs, assignments, and self-check questions.

Medium of Instruction & Requirements

English is the language of teaching across every program, assignment, presentation, webinar, and exam. You'll need a steady internet connection and a device — laptop, desktop, or mobile — to get full value from live sessions and digital tools.

Hindustan University Online BBA Assessment & Examination Structure

How Coursework and Exams Are Scored

Every course carries two parts: Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA), run through the semester, and the End Semester Examination (ESE), at the semester's end.

Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA)

CIA blends three scores. First, two Online Assignments each semester (score A). Next, two Online Quizzes per course, with multiple-choice questions (score Q). Then two Online Assessments per course, one hour each, with MCQs, short answers, and long answers (score AS). Your final CIA score is just the average of A, Q, and AS.

End Semester Exam (ESE)

Each course ends with a two- to three-hour exam. For BBA and other online UG programs, this exam runs online, with a live proctor watching. (CODE's MBA and MCA programs use a different, in-person format. That rule doesn't apply to BBA.)

You earn your well-deserved degree once you finish all theory and practical courses, and you get a generous 3 to 6 years to do it — the same flexible 6-year window from Section 3. (One small housekeeping note: the source text says "four semesters" in this spot, which looks like leftover PG-program wording; six semesters is the right figure for BBA, and easy to fix.)

Digital Library for Hindustan University Online BBA Students

Dr. K.C.G. Verghese Research & Resource Centre (Digital Library)

HITS runs a Central Library plus Departmental Libraries, open to students, faculty, and employees once they enroll as members. (The source doesn't specify separate access terms for online-program students, so it's worth confirming with CODE directly.) The collection includes digital access to over four lakh online resources — databases like SCOPUS, IEEE, Springer, Science Direct, and Nature — plus around twelve lakh physical books, journals, and magazines, with dedicated stack, reference, and Mac Lab sections for students who visit in person.
Hindustan Online - CODE students can access the digital library entirely off-campus via a Single Sign-On (SSO) system. The university uses the Knimbus Digital Library platform to host its remote resources.

Hindustan University Online BBA Faculty

A genuinely qualified faculty team teaches the BBA program at CODE with real dedication. They bring a wonderful mix of research background and real industry work, which keeps class time close to today's business practice.

Hindustan Online BBA Admission Steps

Admission Workflow Overview

Applying to the online BBA takes three easy steps, from sign-up to final review.

Process Breakdown:

  1. Stage 1: Register online and verify your email — quick and simple.

  2. Stage 2: Fill in the application form and add your Statement of Purpose (SOP).

  3. Stage 3: Pay the application fee. The university then happily checks your eligibility.

Hindustan Online BBA Return on Investment (ROI)

Let's line up the fees and the pay, in simple, clear numbers. This gives you a clear, honest picture of value.

  • Total three-year cost (domestic students): about ₹1.27 lakh in all — application fee, course fee, and exam fee combined, across all six semesters.

  • Average graduate salary: ₹4.75 lakh a year, based on Hindustan CODE's own published data. That means just over three months of an average graduate's pay comfortably covers your full three-year course cost.

  • Entry-level salary: at ₹1.65 lakh a year, your course cost gets covered within about ten months of steady, reliable work.

  • Specialization upside: a Logistics Manager earns a strong average of ₹9 lakh a year, per Glassdoor India. A single year of that pay covers your full three-year course cost more than seven times, a genuinely strong return.

  • Semester-wise payments: the ₹19,500-per-semester plan spreads your cost evenly, so your budgeting stays simple and steady, term by term.

  • Earn while you learn: classes run fully online, so you keep your regular income the whole time you study. Your degree grows alongside your paycheck, side by side.

  • Six-year registration window: this gives you real room to pace your studies around work, travel, or family time, and your investment still holds its value.

Hindustan University Online BBA Online Meeting Etiquette

Getting the Most Out of Online Classes and Video Meetings

CODE sets a few simple, friendly tips for online classes, so every runs smoothly:

  • Join up to 5 minutes early to check your setup with ease. Keep your mic muted unless you're speaking, and keep your video on unless told otherwise.

  • Sit in a quiet space with good light on your face (avoid a window or bright light behind you). Use a headset with a mic where you can. These small touches session help a lot.

  • Stay engaged and present. Limit distractions, use the handy Raise Hand feature in Teams to speak, and allow a short pause for replies, since the system can lag a little.

  • Use the chat window for questions, a great way to join in. Don't share meeting links publicly, and don't use the session for anything against university policy.

Organizers can end a session if participants skip these basics. This helps keep things running well for everyone. One handy tip: match your screen brightness to the light around you. CODE points you to the f.lux tool for this.
