Good question, because it sounds like a marketing buzzword until you dig into it.
Traditional marketing education covers the stuff that's been taught for decades: consumer behaviour, brand positioning, market research, and campaign planning. That knowledge hasn't become useless. It's still the foundation.
But layered on top of that now, marketers are using tools like Copy.ai to generate content at scale. They're pulling customer sentiment data from social platforms using NLP models. They're building lead scoring systems using machine learning. Personalisation engines on e-commerce sites, the ones that show you "customers also bought," were built by people who understand both marketing and AI systems.
AI-Driven Marketing as a specialisation teaches you to work at that intersection. Not to become a data scientist, but to understand AI well enough that you can lead, manage, and execute modern marketing functions without needing someone to explain every tool to you from scratch.

Jain University: Who Are They?
Based in Bengaluru, Jain University was founded in 1990 and received Deemed-to-be University status in 2009. They're not a new name in Indian education.

The curriculum especially, which I'll get into next, feels more future-focused than what many comparable programs currently offer.
The Program: How the Two Years Work
The course duration is 24 months spread across four semesters. The first year focuses on business fundamentals, while the second year moves into the specialisation.
What Year 1 Looks Like
Semester 1 includes Business Economics, Financial Reporting and Corporate Finance, Organisational Behaviour and HRM, Quantitative Techniques for Business Decisions, Sustainability and Ethics, and one particularly interesting subject called Generative AI for Online Learners. Who it's probably not for: anyone looking to become a machine learning engineer or full-time data scientist. The AI focus here is practical and marketing-oriented. The balance stays MBA-first with AI used as a business tool. That's intentional, and honestly, it makes sense for the audience they're targeting.
Fees: The Actual Numbers
The total fee for the Jain Online MBA ranges between Rs. 1,96,000 and Rs. 2,98,000 for the full two-year program. The variation depends on the specialisation electives chosen.
Per semester, that works out to roughly Rs. 49,000 on the lower side and Rs. 75,000 on the higher side. There's also a one-time registration fee of Rs. 2,500 and an exam fee of Rs. 3,000 per year. Realistically, students should budget somewhere between Rs. 2,02,000 and Rs. 3,06,000 overall.
